About
About GenioPlus
GenioPlus is an AI pipeline for 2D game art: one character image goes in, a game-ready sprite sheet comes out. It exists because animation is where solo developers and small teams stall — the code ships, the design is done, and the character still stands there not moving.
Who builds it
GenioPlus is built and run by a single game developer. It started with my own 2D projects: pricing out a commission for one walk cycle, digging through asset stores, and eventually shipping a character that just stood there. I use these tools on my own games, so whatever annoys me in real use is what gets fixed next — and the contact address reaches me directly, not a support queue.
What we build
Five tools that share one workflow. Animation turns a static character into an animated sprite sheet. Character generation produces a 45° isometric directional set from a description or a single image. Scene extraction pulls the objects out of a background as standalone assets. Background removal and 4K upscaling handle the cleanup around them. Everything exports as transparent PNGs with the metadata a game engine needs, not as a proprietary project file.
Who it is for
Solo developers, small studios and game jam teams who need character art moving this week and have no animator on the team. If you have an art department, this tool is a prototyping shortcut rather than a replacement for it — and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
How pricing works
Credits are spent only on AI generation. Everything that runs on your own machine — background removal, cutout editing, frame extraction, sprite sheet assembly — is free on every plan, including the free one, and the batch background remover never uploads your images anywhere. The credit cost of a generation is shown before you run it, and failed generations are refunded automatically. Payments are handled by Polar as our merchant of record.
What we are honest about
AI motion wobbles between frames on small details. Back views invent things you never described. Generative upscaling destroys pixel art. None of these are secrets we discovered in support tickets — they are written on each tool's page, because a tool you can predict is worth more than a tool that oversells. The realistic workflow is generate, keep what works, touch up the rest.
Our position on AI-generated art
AI-generated content raises real and unresolved legal questions, and we do not claim otherwise. You keep ownership of what you upload, you may use your generated assets commercially on a paid plan, and we do not warrant that AI output is original or eligible for copyright protection. The Terms page states this plainly rather than burying it.
