Background Remover — Batch Processing, Free, in Your Browser
The "Background remover" runs entirely in your browser — images never leave your machine — and it's free. It's built for the batch flow: drop in many images at once, process them all, download a ZIP.
Batch upload and processing modes
Drag in multiple images at once (PNG/JPG/WebP, up to 25MB each). Two modes: "Quality first" resolves fine edges like hair precisely; "Speed first" uses a lighter model for faster runs. Use speed first for big batches or slower devices.
The detail protection slider
If parts of your subject get erased, raise "Detail protection"; if background residue remains, lower it. Dark capes and shadowed detail on dark backgrounds are the classic case this slider rescues.
Manual editing — wand, restore, eraser
For images the automatic pass doesn't nail, open "Edit". The wand erases leftover background in one click (raise tolerance to include semi-transparent edges), the restore brush paints wrongly-erased parts back from the original, and the eraser wipes away bits the wand missed. Undo with Ctrl+Z is supported throughout.
Download
Grab finished images individually or with "Download all (ZIP)". Use it to prep characters for the animation pipeline, or as the final cleanup pass for assets extracted from scenes.
