4K Upscale — Growing Resolution While Regenerating Detail

"4K upscale" doesn't just stretch pixels — the AI regenerates fine detail as it grows the image. Use it to rescue low-resolution assets, AI generations, or old sprites at high resolution.

Upload and re-detailing strength

Upload an image (PNG/JPG/WebP, up to 10MB) and set the "Re-detailing strength". Lower stays faithful to the source; higher lets the AI paint in bolder new detail. Start low for characters whose look must be preserved, higher for backgrounds that benefit from richer detail.

Run and compare

Hit "Upscale to 4K" and the AI regenerates the fine detail. When it finishes, the original and the result are shown side by side for comparison. Not what you expected? Adjust the strength and run again — failed or filtered runs are refunded automatically.

What it's good for

Great for growing scene-extracted assets to print or marketing resolution, or for banking a larger master of a character before the sprite pipeline. One note: pixel art usually wants its hard pixel edges kept, so nearest-neighbor scaling in your engine often suits it better than AI re-detailing.
